Matt joined the STS Structural team in 2021. With over 15 years of experience in the Built Environment industry, Matt has gained considerable knowledge in various structural engineering sectors from architectural housing, volume housing, industrial complexes, commercial re-purposing projects, asset assessments and forensic investigations. Matt has gained doctoral qualifications (PhD) and has taught as a sessional lecturer (Bond University) in the field of structural engineering for construction management courses. Matt is a curious and committed engineer who is passionate about the possibilities of transdisciplinary design in the Built Environment.

Meet Kaniz! With over 25 years of experience in the Built Environment industry, Kaniz is a highly skilled and dedicated professional. She holds a Master of Engineering and is registered as a professional chartered engineer in Australia. As an experienced structural design engineer, Kaniz has spent more than 25 years mastering project management, structural analysis, design, and construction site supervision. Specialising in composite structure design, including steel, concrete, post-tensioning, and timber, Kaniz consistently delivers innovative and effective solutions. Her impressive track record reflects her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Kaniz’s passion for the Built Environment drives her to continuously uphold these standards while creatively addressing engineering challenges.
